Other books incorrectly claim that the petals must be rounded at the end to be French Crane's-bill, but Clive Stace says that the petals are indeed slightly retuse at the apex, as here.

But that does not mean that these specimens are actually of French Crane's-bill (they still might be wrongly ID'd - there are no photos of the other features - for one thing the petals of that are supposed to be a deep bright pink - and these are pale pink).
