| Preferentially grows on Beech, or deciduous trees. Rarely coniferous. |

Related to : Yellow Stagshorn Fungus but is much shorter. Uniquely identifiable characteristics Distinguishing Feature : Grows on dead wood, is yellow or orange-yellow and appears as short oddly-shaped stumps or clubs, some of which are slightly flattened, between 0.5 to 1.5 cm tall. Not present in the UK before 1969, but now ubiquitous.
