A great many Figwort Family Genera have moved from Scrophulariaceae to other Families. Many, but not all, have been moved into either the Plantain or the Broomrape Families.

Figwort Family losses:

The following Genera have moved from here to the Plantain Family [Plantaginaceae]:
Antirrhinum, Chaenorrhinum, Cymbalaria, Digitalis, Hebe, Kickxia, Linaria, Misopates, Veronica.

The following Genera have moved from here to the Broomrape Family [Orobanchaceae]:
Bartsia, Euphrasia, Melampyrum, Odontites, Parentucellia, Pedicularis, Rhinanthus.

The following Genera have moved from here to the new family, which in absence of any official common name, I shall name the 'Monkeyflower Family' [Phrymacaceae]:
Mimulus (Monkey Flowers).

Figwort Family gains:

The Figwort Family has also made gains; the Buddleja Family (which used to contain the Buddleja Genus) has been subsumed by it.
