LEAF TEETH (STEM) - INFO
The stem leaves grow on the stem (or stems) of a plant and not at the base. The stem leaves can vary in shape from top to bottom of the plant, and do not necessarily all have the same shape all the way up the plant. Indeed, if they are lobed at all, then they are usually more likely to have deeper and more lobes at the bottom and have fewer lobes or no lobes and be shorter at the top.
These designations can (and will) be compounded, that is, some categories are NOT mutually exclusive; a leaf can be both 'amplexicaul' and 'lanceolate' at the same time, so will be labelled as such.
