A fat and squidgy hairy caterpillar. Is black at first, but soon turns green.

Has interrupted black bands with raised yellow blobs.

The yellow blobs have between three and eight short black hairs, plus perhaps one very much longer black hair.

Uniquely identifiable characteristics

Distinguishing Feature :

The moth itself has two concentric circles similar to those of the Peacock Butterfly.
